Our partner, sociologist Alejandro Baer from U. Minnesota / UNED is organizing together with anthropologist Francisco Ferrándiz (CSIC Spain) a summer institute in Barcelona taking place from July 16-20 on the topic "Researching Mass Violence and Human Rights: Ethical, Personal and Methodological Challenges. They look forward to assembling an interdisciplinary and transnational group of graduate students and early-career scholars interested in sharing theoretical frameworks, ethical dilemmas, methodological challenges, field experiences, and best practices from their work in this highly sensitive area of intellectual inquiry and empirical research. Application deadline: Friday, March 17th, 2023.
