Call for Abstracts!

The IXth Conference of the European Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction, “The Interaction Order in the Global Village: Bridging the Atlantic in Symbolic Interaction Scholarship”, will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland in July 3-6 2019.
The aim of the conference is to provide an international and interdisciplinary forum for scholars of interactionist theory and methods to extend and broaden their work and strengthen the base in sociology, anthropology, folkloristics, social psychology, gender studies, and ethnography. The conference is hosted by the University of Iceland and will be held in Reykjavik. The location of the conference and the conference theme are intended to build bridges across the Atlantic and inspire discussions and debates among Symbolic Interactionists, from different countries and continents, in a face-to-face interaction.
Abstract submissions are open until May 15 (send 150-300 word abstracts to vidarh@hi.is)
